April 30, 2018 | Toronto, ON – The AI Directory has welcomed four new members to its core team – Lars Goransson, MD at IDC Canada; Victoria Lennox, Co-founder & CEO of Startup Canada; Steve Brar, Vice President, Digitization and Automation, and TD Bank AI Lead for the Vector Institute; and Andra Popescu, Senior Advisory Consultant (Corporate Segment) at D2L.
Launched by IT World Canada, CATAAlliance and SalesChoice Inc., the AI Directory has over 400 profiles already indexed. The addition of these new members further strengthens the AI Directory team in its mission to provide all AI stakeholders with an opportunity to profile their expertise, find influencers, discover partnership opportunities, share research, and gain insights into new business models.

Here is a look at the four new members.
Who is Lars Goransson?
Lars Goransson is responsible for IDC’s Canadian operation as Managing Director. Prior to his role as MD, Lars has held a number of senior analyst and management roles since joining IDC in 1996, most recently as General Manager & Group VP.
Mr. Goransson is a graduate of the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Lars is also a board member at the Canadian Channel Chiefs Council (C4) and chairs the Research Committee. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CAMC).
Who is Victoria Lennox?
Victoria is a social entrepreneur, commentator, program architect and policy advisor. She has been recognized by the UNDP and EU as one of the foremost experts in entrepreneurship education; ecosystem and program architecture, governance, development and implementation; and, fuelling entrepreneurship movements and awareness campaigns. She is also the first Canadian and one of the youngest recipients of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion on the recommendation of the British Prime Minister.
Who is Steve Brar?
Steve has a broad background ranging across: Predictive Analytics, Big Data, Mobile, Business Intelligence, Security and Highly Scalable Systems. He has a history of successfully setting the vision, building top high performing organizations, leading and delivering large, complex market-leading software products and solutions, including: TD Canada and TD AMCB Mobile Banking Platform for all lines of business, Oracle Real Time Decisions (Real-Time Predictive Analytics), IBM Websphere Customer Center (Master Data Management), Hyperion Scorecard, Certicom Security, and BlackBerry 10.
Steve has 20 years of product development experience building market-leading products and solutions. He has a solid understanding of the business and technical challenges in developing highly scalable, high-performance, low-latency products, applications, and infrastructure. He has also been very successful in having teams adopt an agile and RUP based software development methodology.
Who is Andra Popescu?
Andra is a strategist, change agent and thought leader with deep expertise in business transformation and leadership development practices. She has spent almost a decade providing strategic, innovative, research-driven solutions for corporate executives in a variety of industries.
Andra holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree with honours from McMaster University, an MBA with a focus in strategy and brand management from Ryerson University and she has a passion for women development, learning engagement and entrepreneurship advancement.
